Councillor

Martin Fagan

My name is Martin Fagan.  I am the current chairman of Bolton Parish Council.

After training as a Metallurgist, I spent my career working in the Automotive Components industry, firstly as a metallurgist, then as a Production Engineer, and a Quality Engineer.  We moved up to Bolton in 2019, and I became involved with the Parish Council through Bolton Gardeners, helping to maintain and improve some of the village green spaces.  Apart from the Parish Council, I am also a trustee and miller at Acorn Bank Watermill, near Temple Sowerby.  I lead a folk group for the U3A, meeting at Cliburn and sing with a shanty band (called “Nobody’s Friends”) based in Penrith
